  13. ever seen.  Best of all its FREE!  The program is a very efficient screen 
  14. saver \ JPG player that YOU can configure to display any images you like!

  31. Information for installing & using the Suldanna Screen Saver program.

  34. You will need the Visual Basic 4.0 runtime files to install/run this program.
  35. The file VB4RUN16.EXE will install the files you need on your system,  this 
  36. file is available from many sources eg: the Internet, Compuserve, Microsoft 
  37. just to name a few places.  Since these files are used by many different 
  38. programs they have not been included to reduce the file size.  The VB4 runtime 
  39. files may also be found in VB40016.ZIP.

  42. To install the program run the SETUP.EXE and answer the few simple prompts.

  45. USING YOUR OWN IMAGES: SULDANNA SAVER images are standard JPG files and can be
  46. easily edited by any JPG editor.  After you have a JPG file ready to use,
  47. rename its extension to DTZ or DTX.  Suldanna Saver uses JPG files because 
  48. they have very low disk space requirements/file.

  50. The DTZ files are the foreground images and are just standard JPG files
  51. renamed to DTZ extension.

  53. The DTX files are the background images and are just standard JPG files
  54. renamed to DTX extension, its that simple to make your own custom collection.

  59. CONTROL PANEL settings
  60.  
  61. PASSWORD PROTECTED:
  62. To increase system security you may want to enable Password Protection by 
  63. checking off the password protected check box.  Then enter the password you 
  64. wish to use.

  67. MOUSE MOVE:
  68. You may also indicate whether or not a mouse move will cancel the screen saver
  69. this is handy if you have a noisy mouse that is very sensitive, or a shaky
  70. desk, or live in an area with a lot of seismic activity.

  73. SHOW BORDERS:
  74. This check box determines if you will have borders displayed on your 
  75. foreground images.

  78. PROGRAM PATH:
  79. If you want to change the default screen saver directory you must go into
  80. 'CONTROL panel -> DESKTOP' and change the program file path under the SETUP
  81. for Suldanna Screen Saver.  This feature is handy if you have more than one
  82. collection of images that you would like to display.

  85. IMAGE REDRAW DELAY: 
  86. You may also change the delay before a screen picture is redrawn and set the
  87. mouse move enable in CONTROL panel setup.  Background Delay is 2 times this
  88. Hsetting.

  91. FOREGRND=BACKGRND: 
  92. This setting plays all the foreground images as background images as well as
  93. playing them as foregrounds.

  96. NO FOREGROUND: 
  97. This feature is useful for limited display screens such as on portables, 
  98. all images are displayed one at a time centered on the display.

  101. RANDOM BACKGROUND:
  102. This feature when turned on displays random background images, otherwise
  103. they are played sequentially as they are read from the directory.

  107. Since its free there is no warranty implied or expressed whatsoever, in short
  108. if it don't work, it didn't cost you nothing, so don't bug us.

  110. The saver runs best on a 1024 X 768 display @ 32,000 colors.  The next best 
  111. setting is 1024 X 768 @ 256 colors.  Select NO FOREGROUND for lower resolution 
  112. monitors and laptops to prevent cropping your images.  Selecting
  113. FOREGROUND=BACKGROUND will display all your images in the lower resolution
  114. modes.

  117. Suldanna Bay Screen saver was designed by Real-Time Control Computer Engineers
  118. who got tired of looking at the usual lame screen savers, so we made our own.
